The new IBM xSeries 345 2U, 2-way server delivers rack-dense computing power with improved performance, high availability and scalability. Packed with the latest Intel Xeon nprocessors, DDR memory, Dual Ultra320 SCSI controllers, support of Ultra320 HDDs, Integrated Dual Gigabit Ethernet and five PCI slots, the new xSeries 2U package delivers high levels of integrated functions for improved scalability and performance.

It is a feature-rich application serving platform for space constrained data centers and application service providers. The x345 includes a full array of systems management features—Light Path Diagnostics, Predictive Failure Analysis, IBM Director and the Integrated Systems Management Processor —that work together to provide you with proactive and predictive capabilities to help increase system reliability. The optional Remote Supervisor Adapter is designed to allow full control of the server, even when it’s offline.
