For workgroup & departmental configurations, the Silicon Graphics InfiniteStorage 120 is a low-cost way of expanding existing JBODs and direct-attached storage connected to your existing application servers.

The IS120 fits up to 12 3Gbps SAS drives in a 2U enclosure, and features up to 2 host attachment options. In addition, there are two 4Gbps SAS connections for external connectivity.

The point-to-point architecture of the InfiniteStorage 120 enables administrators to properly identify, diagnose and resolve drive problems and issues quickly, maximizing availability.

This modular approach to storage is ideal for smaller businesses that are cost-sensitive but require scalability & expandability. The SGI IS120 allows you to scale up within the enclosure by adding drives without disrupting operations.
