Flexibility

The Rorke Data Galaxy HDX2 is compatible with cross-platform SANs as well Apple and Commandsoft storage. In addition, it is compatible with the new Seagate ES2 Large Capacity SAS hard drives. The HDX2 systems include Fibre Channel and SCSI as well as new iSCSI and SAS interfaces for maximum connectivity options, and supports FC, SAS, and SATAII drive options.

Enhanced RAID Capabilities

The Galaxy HDX2 features an embedded RAID utility to manage multiple RAID sets. This RAID solution can support multiple RAID configurations, including RAID 0, 1, 3, 5, RAID6, 10, 30, 50, and RAID60. The Rorke Data HDX2 is capable of supporting up to 80TB in a single RAID set.

Reliability
