QLogic 1000 Series Fibre Channel Switches

SANbox 1400 series: 10-port, 4Gbps FC Switch

QLogic's entry-level edge switches, the SANbox 1400 Series, features a low cost and a simple configuration wizard.

These fixed-configuration switches have 10 ports per switch, supporting up to 4Gbps, which is non-blocking. The full-duplex ports auto-sense and auto-negotiate speeds, providing backwards compatibility to 2Gbps and 1Gbps.

The QLogic 1000 Series switches feature a 1U form factor that only covers half of the one slot. Two SANbox 1400 switches can be mounted side-by-side in the same rack slot for 20 4Gbps ports in 1U, providing a great combination of low-cost space efficiency. Other features include:

• in-band or out-of-band, Telnet and SNMP management
• non-disruptive code load and activation (NDCLA)
• I/O StreamGuard for RSCN Suppression
