Pillar Axiom Pilot Policy ControllerThe Pillar Axiom Slammer storage controllers move and manage data for Pillar Axiom storage systems.The Slammer storage controllers virtualize the storage pool for seamless growth of filesystems and LUNs. In addition the Axiom Slammer features:

  • identically configured dual active-active control units for horizontal scalability
  • intelligent striping and mirroring of filesystems and LUNs for full data protection
  • up to 24GB available cache for optimal application performance
  • scale up to any combination of four SAN or NAS storage controllers per Axiom storage system without incurring additional software licensing fees
