Pillar Axiom™ Pilot policy controller

The Pillar Data Axiom Pilot policy controller runs the management functions for Pillar Axiom storage systems. These out-of-band controllers include two independent control units operating in active/passive mode for redundancy to ensure RAS (reliability, availability, serviceability) of your storage infrastructure.

In addition, the Axiom Pilot features:

• data protection tools like write-only changes, Snap FS and Snap LUN snapshots and Volume Copy for full data copies
• a single-policy based framework and web-based GUI that controls all of the storage management and data protection features
• QoS metrics to allocated hardware assets where they are needed
• a Guided Maintenance wizard to build confidence in change management
• a Capacity Planner for predictive modeling before provisioning
• a Path Manager for SAN load balancing and multi-path failover
