Competition

EMC CX 300, CX 500, and CX700 w/ DiskXtender for Unix/Linux or DiskXtender for Windows - you have to pick a Unix/Linux solution, a Windows solution, or you can pay for two software licenses and maintenance and support contracts. DX (DiskXtender) for Linux/Unix is command line and hard to setup, and while DX for Windows is more user friendly, it does not scale well or handle large enterprise environments.

NetApp NearStore w/SnapVault - this solution does not provide bandwidth throttling or compression, there are no automation capabilities, or encryption during transit, or standby failover.
