StorageWorks EVA iSCSI Connectivity Option

The HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Arrays can support the optional iSCSI connectivity. This option extends your existing Fibre Channel investments to smaller department-level and remote office locations.

Featuring integrated multiprotocol support, the EVA iSCSI connectivity option enables businesses to further consolidate their storage environments by supporting IP environments, without requiring further investments into more Fibre Channel architecture.

High Availability Option

The HP Enterprise Virtual Array iSCSI connectivity option can be setup in a fault tolerant configuration with two 1U iSCSI hardware units.

In HA mode with dual paths, the EVA iSCSI connectivity option supports 256 iSCSI initiators with 2 x Fibre Channel target ports. iSCSI connectivity is supported via 2 x 1Gbps standard Ethernet TCP/IP RJ45 connectors, and the unit also includes 2 x 2Gbps Fibre Channel ports as well.
