HP Enterprise Virtual Arrays The HP StorageWorks EVAs are enterprise-class disk arrays designed to provide highly available storage for midrange and enterprise customers that need highly automated and simply to manage storage in their data centers. Capable of supporting transaction I/O performance requirements, these systems also enable easy capacity expansion, replication, and simplify management.
With the new fully-switched backend of the Enterprise Virtual Arrays for RAID, applications perform 25% better than they did with the legacy Enterprise Virtual Arrays. In addition, LUNs can automatically grow and shrink with the included Dynamic Capacity Manager.

With the HP EVA iSCSI connectivity option, businesses can also extend their Fibre SAN into smaller departments and remote locations without expanding their Fibre Channel architecture investments, allowing servers to be connected to the SAN via standard Ethernet ports.
With the EVA disk storage RAID arrays, you can leverage HP’s Storage Essentials SRM software to manage your EVA and SAN infrastructure seamlessly. In addition, this HP EVA software provides an application-level view of storage for Oracle, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, and others, to provide RAID protection and allow issues to be pinpointed and addressed quickly.
The HP StorageWorks EVAs also support Business Copy for snapshot, as well as SnapClone, MirrorClone, and Cross Vraid snapshots and snapclones for superior data protection for businesses. Also, HP StorageWorks Continuous Access EVA protection enhances data protection beyond the data center by supporting realtime remote replication, providing disaster-tolerant business continuity.
