Enterprise-class BladeSystem Enclosure

With the capacity to hold up to 16 half-height or 8 full-height server & storage blades, as well as redundant network and storage switches, the HP BladeSystem c7000 enclosure is designed to meet demanding IT needs. These BladeSystems enclosures support up to 4 interconect fabrics, including: Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Infiniband, iSCSI & SAS, all in a 10U rack-mount form factor. The 8 interconnect bays in the HP c7000 enclosures support any I/O fabric.

These 10U blade enclosures feature a shared, 5 Tbps high-speed NonStop midplane for wire-speed connectivity of server blades to network and shared storage.

Power Requirements & Power Management

• Leverages HP Thermal Logic to minimize power consumption
• 4 Active Cool 200 fans are standard, additional ones can be added, for a total of 10 fans
• Full AC redundanct with no power zones
• Power is delivered through a pooled-power backplane that ensures the full capacity of the power supplies is available to all server blades for maximum flexibility and redundancy
• Power input flexibility is provided with choices of either single-phase, 3-Phase AC input and -48V DC Input
• 80Plus Platinum Certified
• Up to 6 x 960/2250W or up to 6 x 2400W High Efficiency or up to 6 x -48V DC 2250W
