The HP blade servers offers high levels of density, fitting up to 16 blades in a single blade chassis. In addition, select models of the HP blade server are the first in their class to offer dual embeeded 10 Gigabit Ethernet NICs, delivering power and space savings along with the abilty to support high-volume processing workloads, such as big data applications, OLTP, data warehousing & virtualization.
10U, supports 16 half-height or 8 full-height server & storage blades, up to 4 interconect fabrics with 8 interconnect bays
6U, supports 8 half-height or 4 full-height server & storage blades, up to 3 interconect fabrics with 4 interconnect bays
Support for up to 6 universal SFF SATA or SAS hard drives, RAID protection, and the ability to transform it into a full-featured iSCSI SAN.
These servers feature a number of features to satisfy demanding blade server computing requirements, including the latest AMD Opteron and Intel Xeon CPUs,multiple network interconnect alternatives, & a wide variety of I/O options.
Designed to deliver Itanium-based computing power to HP’s c-class BladeSystem enclosures, these servers featureHP’s BladeLink technology, & can be combined to create 2-, 4- and 8-socket systems.
