The Hitachi Data Systems Network Storage Controller Model 55 can manage up to 12 Petabytes of data, including up to 72TB of internal storage. Control externally- and internally-attached heterogeneous storage and leverage virtualization, logical partitioning, and universal replication technologies to develop a tiered storage solution that allows for the transparent and non-disruptive migration of data from one tier to another, throughout the data lifecycle. The NSC Model 55 from Hitachi Data Systems allows mainframe, open systems, and NAS data to be consolidated onto a single, easy-to-manage platform.
