The Force10 delivers 15.4 watts of power over each port, and fully complies with IEEEE802.3af. The Force10 S50V features high-performance capabilities and availability features like redundant power supplies, that make it ideal for delivering VoIP and wireless services from wiring closets as well as data centers. Resiliency is also enhanced with redundant GbE & 10 GbE uplinks with link aggregation, and dual modular slots.

The Force10 Networks S50V are stackable, supporting up to three switches on a stack via a 12Gbps or 24Gbps interconnect. These PoE Gigabit Ethernet switches also support a full range of L2 and L3 standards-based features including OSPF, RIP, IP Multicast, and QoS features like 7 user queues/slot with IEEE 802.1p and port rate limiting.
