1U, Entry-level, stackable switch with 10 Gigabit Ethernet

The Force10 Networks Networks® S25P fits 24 GbE and 4 10 GbE ports into a 1U form factor. This is a reliable L2/L3 switch that extends fiber to the edge of business networks, and supports from 100Base-FX to 10 GbE speeds. Stackable, the Force10 S25P can be connected to 2 more S25P’s to provide 72 fiber 100M or Gigabit Ethernet ports via 12 Gbps or 24 Gbps interconnects.

The Force10 S25P includes other features:

• 95 Gbps forwarding capacity
• 24 line-rate Gigabit Ethernet ports
• 4 line-rate 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports

These Gigabit Ethernet switches also support a full range of L2 and L3 standards-based features including OSPF, RIP, IP Multicast, and QoS features like 7 user queues/slot with IEEE 802.1p and port rate limiting.
