The C300 is a cost-effective LAN core Ethernet switching solution that can support up thousands of clients in a high-density configuration ideal for cramped wiring closets.

Highly reliable, the Force10 C300 is ideal for server aggregation projects in the data center as well, offering mission-critical reliability with low latency, and flexible configurations. Featuring the same modular architecture as the Force10 E-Series chassis, line cards can be added and switched out to respond to changing requirements. With L2/L3 packet forwarding capacity of up to 1.536Tbps and 5 microsecond switching latency even under full loads, the Force10 is designed to accommodate the most demanding bandwidth-intensive applications.

The Force10 C300 resilient switches include 15.4 watt PoE across all ports, and support high availability, with redundant key features such as 1+1 Route Processor Module (RPM) paths and power supplies. In addition, the C300 can power can share power across its power bus to enable VOIP calls to continue in the case of a power failure.
