With the FalconStor IPStor backup acceleration and consolidation solution, you can replicate your data a number of times throughout the day, to a number of different volumes, without having to purchase expensive software, or buy into enterprise-level backup & recovery solutions. Set up a disaster recovery site anywhere, and you can replicate your block- and file-level data offsite over standard IP protocol.
It doesn't matter what applications or databases you need to replicate and backup, or what operating systems the host machines are running. FalconStor IPStor is completely compatible with them. Whether you chose to backup data over Fibre or iSCSI, the FalconStor works seamlessly with it. This makes the FalconStor solution perfect for consolidating multiple storage devices over a heterogeneous application and host system environment. FalconStor intuitive Java-based GUI can simplify and consolidate your backup operations, reducing the overhead and margin of error of your backup operations.
FalconStor IPStor allows you to replicate many times, on multiple volumes, without having to worry about the load on your application servers or production LAN. The installed IPStor storage management suite takes care of the backups and replication, and further optimizes performance by replicating only changed data, called “delta” blocks, This incremental method of replication speeds the replication process.
With these solutions you can backup full, incremental, or differential data, which isn't usually available with standard tape backup solutions.
