Brocade’s FastIron Edge X Series of switches is designed to be able to fulfill a wide range of Layer 2/Layer 3 edge, aggregation and small-network backbone connectivity requirements. These switches feature intelligent network services, including advanced QoS, and combines it with reliable performance, manageability, and built-in resiliency with features such as load-sharing dual power supplies. The Brocade FastIron Edge X offers Gigibit Ethernet connectivity in a 1.5U rack-mount form factor, with the ability to upgrde to 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
