About Us

North American Systems Corporate HeadquartersFounded in 1993 by Phil Bettenburg and David Bogie, North American Systems International originated as an IBM iSeries reseller, providing end-to-end solutions for the midrange IT market. We have also branched our business into many other areas.

For IBM, we have expanded the line of hardware, software, and solutions we offer. For hardware, we offer not only the iSeries - AS400, but the pSeries - RS/6000 Unix servers, as well as the xSeries – Netfinity Intel-based servers. We are Regatta certified to sell and service the p670 and p690 servers, as well as ESS “Shark” certified, for enterprise storage consolidation. Our consultative sales approach and deeply qualified engineers and support staff have helped us gain and maintain IBM Premier Business Partner status for three years running.

Other IBM services we offer include overnight parts delivery of replacements and upgrades for your systems, performance tuning, LPAR, capacity planning, and ROI analysis, to help decide exactly what solution is appropriate for your enterprise. We are certified to provide high availability, change management, automated content delivery, business intelligence, systems monitoring and management, e-Business, security and electronic data interchange software solutions as well.

We have also branched out into other hardware lines including Sun Microsystems and Hewlett-Packard. Our open market reseller status allows us to provide the right hardware, at the great prices. Our 55,000 square foot corporate headquarters and technical lab, allows us to carry a large amount of inventory, and provide you with the technical support your company needs. We also provide a wide variety of premium onsite maintenance options through a number of third-parties.

Our premium level of service, unique sales approach, and great pricing has allowed us to grow to the company we are today. Despite the economy’s downturn and tech spending slowdown, we enjoyed a gross annual revenue of over $37 million in 2002. Phil Bettenburg, our company’s president, and David Bogie, the vice-president, are still involved with day-to-day operations. We are privately incorporated, and our financials are audited annually.

North American’s state-of-the-art lab is a huge climate-controlled facility, with features like a dedicated power supply and an ESD-protective floor, to protect the vast array of premium electronics which get serviced here.
