Sun A1000 & D1000

These high-performance disk arrays support RAID 0, 1, 1+0, 3, and 5 in an inexpensive 12-drive configuration. These disk systems offer single and dual-channel SCSI configurations, as well as hot-swappable hot-swap cooling fans and power supplies.

The Sun StorEdge A1000 arrays offers a dedicated 70 MIPS processor with up to 80 MB of cache memory that manages and controls all RAID functions. RAID levels of existing LUNs can be reconfigured dynamically in the A1000, and there is two-node Cluster support. The cost-effective, compact and flexible storage array is perfect for workgroup environments , fitting up to 436 GB of storage in a single array, and up to 4 TB in a single rack.
