Sun Fire V480

At the high-end of Sun’s rack-optimized servers, the Sun Fire V480 features a balanced and integrated architecture, in a 5U form factor. This server can support up to 4 UltraSPARC processors, 32GB memory, hot-swappable disk drives, and has an expansion bus with 6 PCI slots, for vertical as well as horizontal scalability. This system includes the Sun Fireplane interconnect, remote system control, and redundant, resilient, hot-swappable N+1 power supplies.
