QLogic SANbox2

The QLogic SANbox2 delivers 2Gbps performance and interoperability with 1Gbps architecture at a great price. Available in 8-port and 16-port configurations, these switches come with ASIC memory, which is faster, cooler, and more reliable than standard memory. The QLogic SANbox2 integrates the 2Gbps port onto a single chip for a smaller form factor, less components, lower power consumption, and reduced heat dissipation, for increased reliability and availability.

The SANbox2 16-port model fits in a full-rack 1U form factor, and has dual redundant power supplies and fans. The eight port configuration fits into a half-rack 1U form factor.
