2Gbps Fibre Connectivity to the edge of your network

These stackable 2Gbps edge switches are ideal for growing bandwidth needs. Scale from 8 to 64 ports in a unit with scalability with units, and the ability to stack up to 4 units. The SANbox 5200 comes with a configuration wizard software tool to simplify switch installation and fabric scaling, and firmware can be loaded online, and you can add, change or delete switches without disrupting your SAN.

The QLogic SANbox 5200 is interoperable with all FC SW-2 compliant Fibre channel switches, and offer full-fabric, public-loop, or switch-to-switch connectivity via 2Gbps front ports. The SANbox 5200 model includes advanced management options such as configuration, zoning, and extended distance wizards, and the ability to take fabric-wide snapshots, and detect configuration changes. Dual, how-swappable power supplies are available with the 5602 SANbox model.

The QLogic 5200 features non-blocking full-bandwidth architecture and RSCN suppression. You can manage these switches with higher-level third-party management applications, and its ASIC-embedded memory is faster, more scalable and reliable than traditional shared memory architecture.
