Backup and Restore Email Messages From Your Corporate Messaging System

As businesses tend to rely on email for the exchange and collaboration of information and messaging, it has become important to backup that database for DR and other recovery situations as well. IPStor’s Message Recovery for Microsoft Exchange allows you to quickly locate and retrieve lost mailboxes and messages.

IT administrators now have the power to quickly locate these individual messages, as well as locate and restore individual mailboxes. These mailboxes can be forwarded to the end user in PST format, for simple and easy import to an Outlook client.

Flexibility in built into this feature, as administrators configure IPStor to take PiT (point-in-time) images of MS Exchange Servers to be backed up and protected. This allows you to restore messages that were deleted before a particular point-in-time, or restore a whole mailbox to that point-in-time as well.

Restoration and selection of particular messages can be further expedited by the administrator directing IMR (IPStor Message Recovery) to scan and extract messages into a PST file based on specifications like user name or time range, and forward those messages onto a user, or import the PST file using Outlook.
