Although recently replaced by the DS4000 disk storage systems, the IBM FAStT storage servers provides robust disk storage systems for mid-range storage needs, like workgroup and departmental servers. Affordable and flexible, these products come in a variety of configuration with options like 2Gbps Fibre Channel interfaces, RAID controllers, and built-in management software like FlashCopy™ to help manage your storage. The FAStT family of storage servers use common storage management software and expansion enclosures for easy expandability and a clear upgrade path, if needed.
