The IBM BladeCenter H model chassis is designed specifically for demanding applications, delivery high-performance in high-density environments. This 9U chassis includes 14 blade bays and a high-speed fabric, with eight data channels to every blade, four of which can be 10Gbps. Other features include:

• dual, hot-swappable blowers standard, with additional fan packs with power supplies
• up to 4 x 2980 Watt AC high-efficiency power supply modules with load-balancing and failover (operating at 200 - 240V)
• two front-facing USB ports, and four rear-facing USB ports
• up to 2 Advanced Management Modules
• internal 4X InfiniBand & 10Gbps capability
• Predictive Failure Analysis and Light Path Diagnostics for enhanced reliability and serviceability
• up to 4 standard switch fabrics, or 4 bridge switch fabrics and 4 high-speed switch fabrics supporting Virtual Fabric, FCoE,10 Gb Ethernet, 8 Gb Fibre Channel & InfiniBand
