FullPress is uniquely designed for any graphics-intensive company. It streamlines production and reduces time to production, allows you to maximize your existing IT infrastructure, and expand the capabilities you can provide to your customers.

Imaging Scaling

FullPress eliminates the need to apply unsharp masking and optimize resolutions for scaling images up and down. FullPress automatically scales images using their proprietary algorithms and applies the unsharp mask just as it would be in a high-resolution image editing program, just automatically done at the server level to eliminate production steps and time to output.

Output Options

FullPress is designed to produce smaller, faster PostScript files, as well as

• PDF
• EPS
• 1-bit TIFF
• 8-bit TIFF
• TIFF/IT P1 files

Also, FullPress allows for source cropping of images, and cropping comments and clipping paths. FullPress removes the parts of the image that won't actually appear on the printed piece, reducing the load on your production bandwidth.

FullPress also allows for color separations from composite images, pre separating them and only sending the bits appropriate for each plate. This works for EPS as well as DCS formats.

Automatic Preflighting

FullPress includes, automatic, server-based preflighting on a per-queue basis makes the preflight process quicker and more accurate, to ensure that valuable consumables are not wasted, by failing a print job before they reach the output device, especially if hot folders are being used.

With preflighting through FullPress, you can also check image resolutions, ink densities, and image substitution, and fonts. Preflighting with FullPress will reduce PostScript errors, font conflicts, and color separation problems you may have as well.

Print Spooling

Application latency that occurs while print spooling is eliminated with FullPress. Print spooling and processing are handled at the server level, reducing the load on production workstations.

Security

Security can be controlled through the web-based administration GUI. You can customize file access permissions to the folder level, create ACLs (Access Control Lists), and watermarking to protect digital asset from unauthorized use.
