Mirror Disks on Your SAN Synchronously
Protect your data from storage device and channel failures by providing synchronous disk mirroring from IPStor. Any disk managed by IPStor, whether it be virtual or service enabled, can be directly plugged into the CORE|UX storage manager, and with synchronous mirroring, can satisfy the demand for non-stop operations.
With synchronous mirroring, you can also migrate data from older disks to newer disks with no downtime, and failure protection of RAID is enhanced by FalconStor ability to mirror across multiple cabinets.
This synchronous hard drive mirroring does not increase the load on the application server, as the CORE|UX storage server take care of the mirroring operations, reducing I/O requests and CPU demands on processing dual write commands.
Vendor-neutral and protocol independent, you can have the primary and synchronously mirrored disk from different vendors, and it doesn't matter if has a fibre interface and the other is iSCSI.
